British Gas has cut its standard gas prices by an average 7%, with immediate effect as well as removing the price ‘differential’ for gas pre-payment meter accounts.
The change will mean that the average standard British Gas customers combined annual gas and electricity should be around £50.00 cheaper.
However, it should be pointed out that there are still savings to be made by seeking a new supplier & it is still advised that you check out how much you could save by moving to an alternative home energy supplier.
