A clever idea will shortly be taking form at Tesco which has decided to take a small step towards reducing the huge amout of food wastage by confirming that they will soon be offering customers the opportunity to buy one item and get one free the next time they shop, hopefully avoiding the problem of perishable items being thrown away if they are not eaten on time.
Vouchers will be given so that a customer can actually pick up the bogof extra product the next time they shop. Right now this offer will only be available on relatively few perishable items , however more items will be added to the offer in time.

I look forward to them taking it further and deciding to simply make every bogof offer available to set aside for later. Imagine being able to order your next home delivery and all you have to pay is the delivery charge.
