After months and months of being told to worry about Inflation , we are told that now the biggest worry for all of us is Deflation …
Instead of worrying about how high prices are going to rise, now it seems we need to be worrying that the price of the things will drop to unsustainable levels, which will mean that businesses won’t be able to afford to produce products to export.
Meanwhile, while the price of a barrel of oil has “almost” halved since the highs of even a few months ago, we are still not seeing price cuts in the cost of our energy and the price of petrol is literally coming down in pence not pounds … Go Figure …
So… how much I am worrying about “deflation” and prices dropping low enough to be able to afford to buy a little more this christmas?, frankly the answer is “I’m not“.
