In a blow to the UK Government competition strategy Electricity 4 Business which was billed as an independent electricity supplier went into administration and as today Fri/24/10/2008 all 40,000 of its customers will be looked after by British Gas Business as a supplier of last resort.
Those effected customers will now have to negotiate a new contract with BGB or an alternative business energy supplier and could face extra costs until they do so.
One innocent victim of administration is sure to be E4B’s Charity – The Keech Children’s Hospital which cares for children in the charity’s hospice or through a team of community nurses and carers. All children cared for by Keech Cottage charity have been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition and most are expected to die in childhood.
